For with You is the source of life,
in Your light shall we see light.

Tehillim 36:9-10

Second Voice: Leviticus 6:4
Then shall he take off his vestments,
and put on other garments;
he shall then take the ashes*
outside the camp...

Third Voice: Leviticus 6:4
...to a pure place*.

‏Vayikra 6:4

Abundance

Deshen here means "abundance". These passages are traditionally recited immediately after wrapping oneself in a tallit (prayer shawl). Makor/ source is conterpoised against makom/ place.

Ashes

Deshen here means "ashes". The change of priestly garments is musically juxtaposed to the mitzvah of tallit.

Place

Makom/place is conterpoised against Makor/ source
